François performed under the baton of the amazing Charles Hazlewood with musicians from Goldfrapp and Portishead at the Glastonbury Festival on 29/6/14. This was to celebrate the imminent 50th anniversary of the British sci-fi TV series Thunderbirds. The band performed well-known numbers by the memorable composer Barry Gray.

François can be seen at the right hand corner of the stage, with Barry Gray's Ondes Martenot.





Deeply saddened to have heard this morning of the passing away last night of film composer John Barry Prendergast, a man who had such a potent influence on my childhood and life decisions.

Thank you for your beautiful and haunting music John; you will be missed.






In February, François flew to India to help Allah Rakha Rahman develop a new music conservatory in his home town of Chennai. The KM Music Conservatory is now up and running.




Music from the feature film A Fistful of Fingers (Edgar Wright) has been re-mastered by Doug Schwartz at Mulholland Music.




Tadlow Music's spectacular and revealing re-recording of Maurice Jarre's 1962 score to David Lean's Lawrence of Arabia has just been released. It features François playing all three ondes Martenot parts.
