Based near Nantes in France, Christophe Evans is the first half of the duo Buggy Park. Christophe sometimes steps in as percussionist and concertmaster on his brother François's soundtracks. He is currently percussionist with the French group Akène.

His music has been played by the pianist Jason Rebello. Christophe began life in England playing drum kit with the Portsmouth-based fusion band Arc de trio. He played drum kit for Jimmy Somerville at the Theatre Royal, Drury Lane in 1997 and also plays kit on Alex Chandon's film Pervirella (1997). He was guest percussionist for Wilfred Josephs's 70th birthday concert at St John's, Smith Square in London (1997) and at the Barry Gray Centenary Concert with the Philharmonia Orchestra at the Royal Festival Hall in 2008.

Christophe Evans studied jazz percussion at the Guildhall School of Music & Drama, undertook jazz studies at the Centre d'Informations Musicales in Paris before taking lessons with Chrissy Lee. He studied piano from age six and as a boy, sang treble in performances of Mussorgsky's Boris Godunov at the Royal Opera House, Covent Garden.

He is currently building a new drum studio near Nantes in France.
