Richard Burgess (b. 1949)

There’s a special kind of rawness in the electronic music production work of Richard Burgess, that appeals. He played electronic drums and sang in the albums of the 80s’ band Landscape, with their glorious track Einstein-a-Gogo. Before they went mainstream, he produced the hard-hitting song Chant No. 1 for Spandau Ballet. He has also written a very useful book on music production: The Art of Music Production.
