Oliver Knussen (1952-2018)
The first-rate English composer and conductor Oliver Knussen has influenced me by his sociability. His colour palette in sound is subtle and diverse, his work concentrated and miniaturist. He sounds almost French! I am still getting to know his music. Check out his 3rd Symphony (Op. 8).
